Well, ive had a great christmas. Gotten alot of good food (a bit to much im affraid!), and some nice time in a snowy landscape in the western mountains of Sweden. Was awsome. We went to an frozen waterfall. Had a great time in the cabbin, and just relaxed alot.
I have also managed to squeze in some training in these hectic christmas time. Working in the gymnasium, getting some technique training down. Working a bit more on my flips, and my parkour skills in general.
Also been working out with free weights, to enchance my strength, and burn some of the christmas calories away :)
All in all, the holidays have so far been really nice. New years eve tomorrow. Will be a relaxed evening, just me and my girlfriend, some good food, and moderate amounts of alcohol. I aim to do a 5 km run on the first morning of the new year. So I guess I wont be up so much longer then after the clock has passed twelve ;)
We will see. Anyway, did some new achivements just before christmas. Made two small clips, ill link em
First, is my first muscleup transisition! Finally managed to get in the technique of moving my hands properly so I could press my body up thru the transisition into the dip. Didnt manage to get it down every atempt, but im making progress! Ive noticed its not just pure strength I lack. Its alot more technique then I thought in it aswell. So Ill be doing those "cheat" muscleups to train my transisition some more.
Also got over my mental barrier pretty much for the wallflip. Really nice to be doing some progress. Also I got my first double kong down. My first proper, where i manage to extend my legs in between the two objects. No big gap im doing. Im just trying the technique out. So ill probably be trying some bigger gaps soon enough as my technique improves.
Well. Just watch the two short clips.
Also, im going to try to do alot more strength training focusing using my own body weight, instead of lifting weights in the gym. I think I dont want to bulk up anymore, but rather become a bit more slim, and improve my endurance. So im going to try a four week "circle routine", and see what kind of difference it will make. Will be interesting, and ill be posting my progress.
Ill try to make some strength training clip aswell, to give you an idea of how I train. Might be interesting ;)
Anyway, I wish you all a happy new year, and I hope you have had a great christmas!
Cheers!

Happy New Year!
Good to hear you have been training well through the holiday season, and that you completed the forrest run without stoping.
I like to people who are disciplined well in the art of Parkour, so big respect my friend.
All the best in health and happyness for 2009.
